This calligraphy set includes 8 pieces: 1 calligraphy pen, 2 calligraphy nibs (fine and broad) with rubber grips, 4 cartridges with black ink, and an instruction booklet with practice sheets. You will hear a click when the back of the nib punctures the cartridge. Step 3: Twist the nib back onto the pen and stand the calligraphy pen upright for a minute or two before use. Then gently press it onto a piece of paper to start the ink flow (only a few strokes should be necessary). Now you’re ready to write! To keep the ink flowing smoothly, always hold the pen at a 30 to 45-degree angle to the paper (calligraphy pens aren’t designed for the same use as office pens). Note: Medium and broad tips are excellent for beginners as they offer more control. Care - To keep your nibs in good condition, clean them after each session and store them back in the box. Rinse the nib under cool water after extensive use and dry carefully with a soft cloth. Don’t let the ink dry on the nib as it will clog it. Once clean and dry, replace the cap. Carry and store your pen upright (tip up) to prevent leaks.
